TruSite™ Port Locator
The TruSite Port Locator is a compact, hand-held probe that detects magnetic fields generated by magnets and electronic devices. This port locator can precisely detect magnetic fields up to four centimeters below the skin surface depending on the internal port design. The TruSite locator must be used in conjunction with a TruSite Injection Port contained within an Integra tissue expander. The TruSite Port Locator is a multiple-use, disposable product that contains a Lithium (non-lead) battery.
The TruSite Port Locator is pre-calibrated and ready for use directly out of the sterile packaging – no sensitivity adjustment is required. The TruSite Port Locator allows for easy port location by illuminating when the magnetic port is detected. To mark the location of the port, simply depress the tip of the TruSite Port Locator into the skins surface.
